Cuando los turistas llegan a la cima de la Montaña Arco Iris, lo hacen con el orgullo de haber superado la difícil caminata para llegar allí. Otros nombres que se utilizan para referirse a la Montaña Arco Iris son Vinicunca, Winikunka y Montaña de los Siete Colores.

Rainbow Mountain Itinerary Full Day

Lo recogeremos de su hotel entre las 04:30 y las 05:10 am para iniciar un viaje directo de 3 horas hasta la base de Vinicunca, desde donde comienza la caminata.
07:00 | Desayuno
Haremos una parada para desayunar antes de llegar a nuestro destino.
08:00| Hike
It takes approximately 1.5 hours to reach the viewpoint of the Rainbow Mountain.
10:00| Top of the mountain
Upon reaching the top, the guide will share interesting facts and then you will have approximately 40 minutes to take pictures and enjoy the scenery.
13:30| Return
Finally you will return to the base (approximately 2 hours descent) and then head to the restaurant where you will have lunch and continue the trip back to Cusco. The tour ends in Cusco around 5:30 pm.

Rainbow Mountain, also known as Vinicunca or Montaña de Siete Colores (Mountain of Seven Colors), is a popular tourist attraction located in the Andes Mountains of Peru. It is situated about 100 km southeast of Cusco, near the Ausangate mountain.
The mountain is known for its unique striped pattern of colors, which are the result of sedimentary deposits of various minerals, including iron oxide, copper sulfate, and others. The colors are particularly vibrant during the dry season from April to October, when the sun shines brightly on the mountain.
La caminata a Rainbow Mountain es un desafío y toma alrededor de 3 a 4 horas en cada sentido, alcanzando una altitud de más de 5,000 metros (16,400 pies). Se recomienda para excursionistas experimentados que están acostumbrados a la altura, ya que la altura puede causar el mal de altura o dificultades respiratorias para algunos visitantes.
