Many are the routes that will allow you to enjoy your Machu Picchu Vacation Package, but none is as full of adventure as the Inca Jungle Trek. After flying from Peru’s capital, Lima, you will arrive in Cusco to hike for four days discovering the ruins of ancient Inca fortifications and cities, with a wide variety of fun activities ranging from mountain biking to rafting. The journey through the Inca jungle traverses different climates, starting high in the Andes Mountains, where the group descends a winding road with breathtaking views on mountain bikes and equipped with safety gear. After lunch in the town of Santa Maria, travelers have the option of rafting on the Vilcanota River. The second day consists of a hike along the traditional Inca Trail, which passes many small Inca ruins. The area through which this day is spent teems with life, including a wide variety of natural growing fruits and exotic birds. In the afternoon, the group relaxes in the thermal baths of Cocalmayo. On the third day, there is the option of ziplining, which costs a supplement but offers a unique view of the jungle. That night, travelers rest in Aguas Calientes before the expected morning visit to the legendary city of Machu Picchu.

CUSCO- SANTA MARIA: BIKING AND RAFTING
We will start our 4 day Inca Jungle Trek adventure at 5 am. Our transportation will pick us up between 5:00 and 5:30 approximately (time to be reconfirmed). The first point to take a Breakfast is near to Ollantaytambo Town,after that we will continue by calm sites like Alfamayo,Phiry,Collpani,Peñas,Tastayoc and more. to finally arrive at the high pass of Malaga (4,350 meters / 14 242 feets) around 11:00 am where we will start the first adventure activity that is the descent on mountain bikes, descending for about 3 hours, passing through small villages, orchards, rivers and streams that breaks the Highways, arriving at the village of Huamanmarca around 1:30 pm. to rest and get in our private van to go until the village of Santa Maria to take a Lunch which is 40 minutes away . After that, we will start the rafting trip for the next 2 hours, encountering class III and IV rapids, always accompanied by a professional security kayak to watch over the group until we get out of the river.

SANTA MARIA-SANTA TERESA: TREKKING – INKA JUNGLE TREK
After a delicious breakfast, we will begin our first day of Santa Teresa trekking course at 6 AM on the way the tour guide will some stops to explain about the flora and fauna that you can find
One of these stops will be a family home where we will rest for 20 minutes and stock up on more water and some tropical fruits of the region. After some rest, we will cross over to the stretch of the Inca Trail that historically connected Machupicchu with the town of Vilcabamba. Then, here our tour guide will explain a little more about the history of the Incas, as well as the communication system that existed during that time. At this point, we will also see one of the most impressive views of the entire Huancarccasa Canyon. We will then descend to the small village of Quellomayo, where we will stop for lunch and rest in the nearby hammocks.
Afterwards, we will continue two more hours on foot to the thermal baths of Cocalmayo, where you will have enough time to enjoy the naturally heated water of the baths.

SANTA TERESA – AGUAS CALIENTES: (TREKKING AND ZIP LINE)
After waking up and having breakfast in Santa Teresa, we will walk for 20 minutes from the hotel to the natural area where the activity takes place. This canopy activity has 12 platforms and 5 cables suspended 250 meters above the valley. The cables used in the zip line activity are made of galvanized stainless steel. The length of the same ones goes from 500mts. To 1000mts. Once the activity is finished (it lasts approximately one hour and a half), we will be transferred to the Hydroelectric Plantc with a transport.
Then, lunch will be included along the way, and we will have the chance to see a series of waterfalls and admire the majesty of the surrounding Machu Picchu mountaing. Here you will also have the opportunity to see an astronomical sundial used by the Incas, as well as other constructions such as the Inca citadel of Machupicchu. After 3 hours of hiking, we will arrive in Aguas Calientes along the train tracks leading to the small town.

MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO
For the last day of this amoazing tour we will wake up around 5.00 am, you will have time to the breakfast and then take one of the first buses to Machu Picchu. One of the reasons that we start the tour early is to have plenty of time to take pictures and enjoy the sunrise over Machu Picchu. The tour in Machupicchu has a duration of 2 hours,there you will discover interesting Information about this Beautiful place. After that you will return to Aguas Calientes Town in the same Touristic Bus. When you will arrive to the Town of Aguas calientesYour guide will offer to meet to enjoy your last lunch at a local restaurant. This is optional and is not included. During lunch, your guide will hand you your train tickets, so if you decide to skip them, please arrange to get them before dropping you off at Machu Picchu. Please make sure you are at the platform at least 30 minutes ahead of time. It will be a 2-hour train ride to Ollantaytambo (depending on which train you take), where one of our driver will meet you and take you back to town on our bus, and then drop you off at your hotel.

The Inca Jungle route to Machu Picchu is an adventurous alternative to the classic Inca Trail. This route includes a combination of trekking, biking, and rafting through the stunning Peruvian jungle. Here’s a brief overview of the itinerary:
Day 1: Cusco to Santa Maria (trekking and biking) You’ll start your journey from Cusco and drive for a few hours to the town of Mollepata, where you’ll begin your trek. You’ll hike for about 3-4 hours through the mountains and then switch to mountain bikes for the remainder of the day’s journey. You’ll bike for another 3-4 hours along a scenic road to the town of Santa Maria, where you’ll spend the night.
Day 2: Santa Maria to Santa Teresa (trekking) Today, you’ll start the day with a hearty breakfast before beginning a full day of trekking. You’ll follow a trail through the jungle, crossing rivers and passing through small communities. You’ll reach the town of Santa Teresa in the late afternoon, where you’ll stay in a local guesthouse.
Day 3: Santa Teresa to Aguas Calientes (trekking and hot springs) Today, you’ll continue trekking through the jungle and cross a hanging bridge over the Urubamba River. After a few hours of hiking, you’ll reach the town of Aguas Calientes, where you can relax in the local hot springs.
Day 4: Machu Picchu (sightseeing) Today is the day you’ve been waiting for! You’ll wake up early to catch the first bus to Machu Picchu
